Welcome to Joanne Wright Psychology, a professional and compassionate psychology practice supporting children, young people, adults, parents and families. We provide ADHD and autism assessments, psychological therapy, EMDR, post-diagnostic support and SEND guidance, with each service tailored to the individual’s needs. Our neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based approach is designed to help people better understand themselves, overcome difficulties and make meaningful, lasting change.

ADHD and Autism Assessments

We offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD and Autism, tailored to meet each individual’s needs. Our process involves careful evaluation to identify strengths and challenges, ensuring that everyone receives the support they deserve.

Psychological Therapy

Our psychological therapy sessions are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals of all ages. We aim to make mental health accessible and address various emotional challenges through tailored therapeutic techniques.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy is effective for processing trauma and alleviating distressing memories. Our trained therapist works closely with clients to facilitate healing while ensuring a compassionate and respectful approach.

Post-Diagnostic Support

After an assessment, we provide ongoing support to help families and individuals navigate their next steps. Our goal is to empower clients with the knowledge and resources necessary for their journey ahead.

Family and Parent Support

We understand that families play a crucial role in mental health. Our support services include guidance and resources for parents and families, ensuring everyone feels involved and informed.

SEND and EHCP Advice

We provide expert advice on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). Our aim is to help families advocate effectively for their child’s educational needs.
